Horace Mann Financial Policy

Horace Mann offers 3 tuition billing options to our Horace Mann parents. You may choose between annual, semi-annual, and monthly tuition billing.

OPTION 1 - ANNUAL BILLING

With the Annual Billing Option you will receive one (1) tuition charge for the complete amount. This bill for the tuition of the full school year will be due in its entirety on August 15. Please be aware that if the bill is not paid in its entirety by the due date it will accrue a 1% finance charge for every billing cycle left with an outstanding balance. Failure to comply with the monthly due date will result in a letter from Northwest Missouri State University and Horace Mann.

OPTION 2 - SEMI-ANNUAL BILLING

The Semi-Annual Billing Option will allow you to have the tuition cost split into two (2) charges for the full school year. The first payment will be due August 15 and the second payment on January 15. Please be aware that if either bill is not paid in its entirety by the due date it will accrue a 1% finance charge to be assessed to any unpaid balances for every billing cycle left with an outstanding balance. Failure to comply with the monthly due date will result in a letter from Northwest Missouri State University and Horace Mann.

OPTION 3 - MONTHLY BILLING

The final option is to have tuition broke into ten (10) month installment charges for the school year. 学费 and fees will be charged monthly over a ten month period (July-April). The charges will be due on the 15th of the following month (August-May). This option is the default if no other option is requested. A 1% finance charge will be assessed to any unpaid balances. Failure to comply with the monthly due date will result in a letter from Northwest Missouri State University and Horace Mann.

**With all of the options Northwest/Horace Mann reserves the right to discontinue enrollment if accounts do not have a zero balance at the beginning of the Fall (August) and Spring (January). Failure to make regular payments could result in your account being turned over to an outside collection agency. Please see the Horace Mann Handbook for further detailed information on the policy and procedures.

**The Leet Center is now accepting Missouri State Child Care Subsidy.

Subsidy Eligibility and Account Maintenance

• Eligibility is determined by the Missouri State Department of Social Services.
• Parents/Guardians are responsible for accurately logging attendance daily into the online subsidy tracking program.
• Parents/Guardians are responsible for the full remaining balance after the subsidy has been credited to the account by the Student Account Services Department.
• Failure to keep your account current will result in additional finance charges.
• Failure to bring your account into good standing within 90 days will result in the child(ren) being dismissed.
• Failure to set up a payment plan with the Student Account Services Department for delinquent bills will result in submission to a collections agency.
